American Homes 4 Rent Merger Increases its Portfolio to 47,000 Rentals

(c)CanStock Photo(December 4, 2015) – American Homes 4 Rent and American Residential Properties, Inc.  jointly announced on December 3rd their plans to merge into a one company that will likely own and manage more than 47,000 residential single-family rental homes.

The merger will increase the size of American Homes 4 Rent, the largest publicly traded single family rental company, which owned approximately 38,000 single family rentals before the announce merger.
