Are you a Washington real estate licensee? Are you as excited about the new 2026-2027 CORE CE course as we are–the one that we give to you FREE of charge? At OnlineEd, we’ve been preparing for this moment for months; the moment we’ll go live with our new, free, 3-hour Current Issues in Washington Real Estate course!
Starting January 1st, 2026, all Washington real estate licensees must take the 2026–2027 CORE curriculum for continuing education as part of their license renewal cycle. This updated CORE course replaces the 2024–2025 version, but at its heart, it’s still the CORE you know and love; it’s got the most current legislative, regulatory, and industry issues affecting real estate practice in Washington.
As in previous renewal periods, the 2026–2027 CORE remains a mandatory 3-hour course that every licensee must take during each two-year renewal cycle. Outside of the CORE requirement, overall continuing education requirements for Washington licensees remain unchanged. Brokers and managing brokers must complete 30 total hours of CE every two years, which includes the CORE course, a fair-housing course, and a set of elective classes in approved topics. Remember that first-time broker renewals still require a larger 90-hour CE package.
Enjoy the feeling of freedom and fresh real estate knowledge with our free, 2026-2027 CORE course!
