In real estate and architecture, Elevation refers to the exterior design or vertical view of a structure as seen from one side, most commonly the front. It shows the arrangement and appearance of features such as doors, windows, rooflines, and exterior materials.
Elevations are often used in construction plans, marketing materials, and appraisals to illustrate a building’s style and curb appeal. While the front elevation is most frequently referenced, side and rear elevations may also be identified to describe the full exterior design of a structure.
